PALS
Culturally speaking the north eastern part of Spain is a very interesting region.
South and North of the Pyrenees, a great many historically important events have happened. This region has played a crucial role during the Greek reign of the Mediteranean, when for instance the fundaments of Empuries were laid. In the Roman Empire, Empurias grew to become one of the most important harbours on the western side of the Roman Empire.
